- Check host-family requirements
- Complete the family profile fully and truthfully
- Get to know the au pair and discuss expectations
- Agree on accommodation, meals, tasks and hours
- Agree on free time, holiday, pocket money and language support
- Prepare the agreement and have both sides sign it
- Provide documents for visa, residence and insurance
- Prepare arrival, authority appointments and emergency contacts
